Baguio City Temperature – Latest Update

Baguio City has an altitude of approximately 1,610 meters or 5,280 ft above sea level. There is no doubt temperature of this elevation can be freezing. Freezing  temperature usually occurs from  December to February.

According to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration or (PAGASA), The City recorded the following:

Hottest temperature

30.4 degrees centigrade on March 15, 1988

Coldest temperature

6.3 degrees Celsius on January 18, 1961
6.7 degrees Celsius on February 28, 1963
6.8 degrees Celsius on January 28, 1963.

**note: Some places adjacent to Baguio City are colder. They register ranging  from +2 to +4 degrees Celsius, 8 degrees lower compared to the average temperature of the City. You can feel the cold breeze when you visit the locality of  Atok, Buguias and Kibungan Benguet. Low temperature destroys the crops of the local vegetable farmers.
