Does a Maple Tree Grow in Baguio?

I am just curious, does a Maple Tree grow in Baguio or anywhere else in Philippines? I am asking this to myself because i like the quality of the maple wood.

Maple Trees like to live in cool areas and they are invasive in nature. It may grow in tropical areas however it may not sustain life because it is not their natural habitat.

In my opinion, It can grow here in Baguio with the aid of proper research and tools. I am not very sure but it is possible.

What do you think?

Do You Think Baguio City still Deserves to be the Summer Capital of the Philippines

Baguio City is the Summer Capital of the Philippines. It is a good resting place during dry season because of its good cool weather and natural scenic beauty. Recently, It is now becoming a commercialized city because of uncontrolled development. Pollutions are every where brought by strangers to Baguio and because of the diversity of cultures.

Baguio City today is not good as in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and many claim that the Summer Capital of the Philippines should be relocated somewhere else untouched by development with the help of the Legislature.
